The Center for Simulation and Innovation (CSI) at the UArizona College of Medicine – Phoenix is uniquely designed to simultaneously support the full cohort of its medical students along with its clinical, educational and community partners.

We support the innovative educational needs of the medical school and its clinical affiliates, including industry health care partners and the community.

CSI’s 33,000 square feet of well-appointed and dedicated clinical and didactic teaching space is distinctive in its award-winning design. Located at the heart of the Phoenix Biosciences Core in beautiful downtown Phoenix, AZ, the Center spans three wings of the Health Sciences and Education Building. UArizona College of Medicine – Phoenix medical students have convenient access to immersive longitudinal simulation-based training that spans all four years of their College of Medicine – Phoenix curricula. To support this innovation approach, the simulation center retains a large pool of hourly staff and faculty who are well-trained in CSI’s best practices and technologies. This enables tens of thousands of CSI learner contact hours each year.

Within its primary scope, CSI concurrently serves as Northern Arizona University’s (NAU) simulation center for their local Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Athletic Training programs. College of Medicine – Phoenix clinical partners enjoy customized graduate medical education simulation events throughout the year. CSI also conducts numerous bootcamps and a variety of specialty and recurring programs for community and educational clients.
